The relocation of the private investor is a global solution for the taxpayer willing to change his residence. This applies to the professional, family and the wealth status toward tax friendly jurisdictions. For European residents, Switzerland and Mauritius are key destinations. A second residence could be maintained in the origin country, in some cases. Lump sum taxation is applicable in Switzerland, or an economic project for EU citizens. Every case needs a consulting process to look at the residence and tax regulations according to the citizenship of the beneficial owner. For high net worth investors from outside European Union, a residence permit in a jurisdiction of the Schengen area may be obtained with an investement scheme. Public deficits of the rich countries will lead to a tax rise and the investor be targeted to participate to the process. This is the reason why the investors should look to tax havens where they could live in a safe and low taxation way.
We offer a relocation service to the high net worth investors for tax reasons, mainly in Switzerland with the lup sum taxation process (Initial consulting; visit on location; bank introduction; tax amount negociation with a sollicitor; real estate property; wealth management process in a Geneva private bank). An alternative is the economic project like consultant or adviser, with the formation of a Swiss company which allows to obtain a resident permit in a short time through our assistance. Geneva airport is very active and allows fast travel to anywhere while the Switzerland and France environments are attractive in the heart of the Alps and its resorts.
Relocation in Mauritius is another option, using tax treaties in force with jurisdictions like UK; France; Belgium; Luxembourg; Germany; Italy and Sweden for Europe, India and China for Asia. The assets could be managed in Geneva with a Mauritius company and the income taxes are being paid in Mauritius at the residual rate of 3% for the concerned jurisdictions. An alternative is the IRS scheme (Integrated Resort Scheme) which consists to buy a real estate property from EUR500,000 value, and a residence permit is delivered by the Mauritian authorities, like in La Balise Marina. Taxation is calculated over the income that is imported in Mauritius at the rate of 15%. If the investor uses a credit card and do not import funds, he will support no taxation.
